Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer Dave Woodruff builds corporate and private partnerships that support the Foundation’s growth and expands our ability to ensure that veterans and service members have what they need to succeed. He had a more than 30-year career in advertising and media before joining the Foundation.
As one of the first family members to arrive at brother Bob’s bedside in Germany following Bob’s traumatic brain injury while in Iraq reporting on the war, Dave knows the agony of having a loved one wounded in combat.
And he understands the excruciating uncertainty that follows the diagnosis of traumatic brain injury.
Through his experience keeping watch while his brother recovered in a military hospital, Dave saw the hardships many military families face when a loved one is injured in combat. Dave walked away knowing that we owe our veterans and service members all the support we can give them. As the Foundation’s first board chair, he lives his promise to bring attention to service members’ and veterans’ challenges and to support them in their next chapters.
Dave has a B.S. in Mass Communications from Miami University.
